DIGESTIVE DISEASES & DISORDERS

The health of all humans body depends wholly on the ability of the body to digest and assimilate food substances and nutrients.
Indigestion leads to a number of health complications.It causes pain and discomfort.

Indigestion,if not arrested can causee inflammatory bowel disease,irritable bowel syndrome and bowel irregularity(bowel movement).The human digestive system is responsible for breakdown of food particles(solid and liquid) and turn it to nutrients needed by the body.
When the process of digestion is faulty and the system is unable to function properly,it results in digestive disorder.

SYMPTOMS OF DIGESTIVE DISORDER

Some of the symptom of digestive disorder include;

*Belching
*Bloating
*Diarrhea
*Heart burn
*Constipation
*Vomiting
*Retching
*Weight loss and abdominal pain
*Ulcers and bowel movement
*Flatulence
*Hepatitis

AIDS TO DIGESTION

To avoid any form of digestive disorder,the following tips could be of tremendous benefit.They are;

*Natural fruits such as oranges,apples assist the body in its metabolic activities.
*Vegetables like cucumber,onions,garlic,carrots are all commendable as effective aids to food digestion.
*Avoidance of fatty foods-They delay stomach emptying.
*Milk products,ice cream and process foods should be consumed sparingly
*Excess sugar and sweeteners as in soft drinks and fruit drinks should also be avoided.
*Periodical colon cleansing and flushing is quite proper in order to get rid of waste and toxic food substances in the body.
*The presence of harmless and normal bacteria in the intestine helps in breaking down food.The effectiveness of such bacteria could be boosted by consuming good quatity of fermented milk(yogurt)and soy milk.*Eat balance diet and avoid improper harbit of combining two starchy food in one meal.
